Principal Responsibilities:
We are looking for resourceful candidates to join our Financial Research team based in the firm’s offices in Mumbai onsite on a full time basis. Key requirement: Promote deep insights into regional sectors with our Equity Research team, analyzing public data, creating financial models, and servicing stakeholder.
Develop Product Knowledge :
Gain an understanding of Caprize Investment Manager’s equity investment products, philosophy, process, and serve as a fundamental sector specialist.
Portfolio Analysis :
Monitoring client portfolios and associated performance attribution/positioning; Writing market/fund commentaries, explaining the embedded investment strategies and helping with study of market trends, investment themes and related impact on client portfolios.
Research and analysis:
Understanding and identifying analysis to address key project objectives and initial hypotheses. Gathering and analyzing relevant data from a variety of sources, including company reports, the internet and online databases to enable industry & company analysis. Building detailed financial industry / company models, reports, graphs and datasets. Write thematic sector and company specific reports for internal purpose highlighting key investment arguments along with risks associated with these investments.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing market performance, identifying lucrative investment opportunities, and providing valuable insights to assist our organization in making informed investment decisions. The Equity Research Associate will collaborate closely with senior analysts, engage with portfolio managers, and leverage their expertise in financial analysis to contribute to the organization’s success.
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain financial modeling charts to aid in investment decision-making.- Provide investment recommendations based on thorough research and analysis of securities data.- Assist senior analysts in conducting comprehensive investment research.- Evaluate potential equity investments to assess their viability and potential returns.- Conduct meetings and interviews with key stakeholders such as managers, executives, and suppliers to gather relevant information.- Generate reports summarizing research findings and investment recommendations.- Simplify dense and complex financial data to facilitate decision-making processes.- Compile financial statement analysis to assess the financial health and performance of companies.- Monitor market systems and performance to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, statistics, or a related field and 1-2 years of experience
Proficiency in data mining software to extract and analyze financial data.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information effectively.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
Capacity to meet deadlines and work efficiently under pressure.
Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and specialized investment software.
Knowledge of stocks, bonds, index funds, and other investment instruments.
Problem-solving skills to address challenges encountered during research and analysis.
Familiarity with trade jargon and terminology used in the investment industry.
Strong research abilities and a keen eye for detail.
Understanding of foreign financial markets and their impact on investment strategies.
